Medical Billing

Medical billers provide services to health care providers and patients by filing claims to private insurance companies and government agencies.

Medical Coding

Medical coding is the in-demand, specialized skill of converting medical services, procedures, diseases, diagnoses, and injuries into numeric or alphanumeric designations. Coders provide critical information for insurance reimbursement. Coding is also used for quality control within the institution and for other research uses.
