Telos in Greek means fulfillment. The telos
of an acorn is an oak tree. The Telos program is designed
to fit the lifestyle and interests of retirees. Our emphasis
is on learning, growth, and fun—not performance.
And our classes are a bargain—starting at only $50 for an eight-week
course.
Popular past classes have included Views of the News (current events), Geology of the Pacific Northwest, The Relationship Between Science and Religion, Creative Writing,
T’ai Chi, and Getting to Know Your Digital Camera.
Our non-graded, non-credit classes are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere.
They meet once a week for an hour and a half Monday through Thursday.
Fall, Winter, and Spring quarter classes are eight weeks in duration.
There is a limited summer program.
